Vahan Sampark is a privacy-first intermediary for vehicle-related contact. This page describes the current controlled pilot; a reviewed commercial privacy notice and business identity will be published before a public launch.
What is used
Owners provide a mobile number and vehicle details to activate a QR tag. A scanner can send a structured alert without a public profile. Photo reports and browser calls require scanner verification. Emergency contacts receive alerts only after independent consent.
What stays private
Phone numbers are not shown to the other participant. Scanner identities are separated by owner. Photos are held in private storage and shared through short-lived, scoped links; they are not displayed in a public gallery. Browser calls are not recorded.
Owner controls
Owners can disable or replace a tag, set routine contact hours, block a scanner, manage emergency contacts, and request account deletion from the owner account. Limited records may remain where required for security or legal obligations.
External services
Controlled-pilot alerts use WhatsApp, verification uses an OTP provider, and optional photo reports use private storage and image safety checks. A browser call may use a relay when a direct connection cannot be made. Public PSTN fallback is not active.
